I know that artificial sweeteners of any kind are bad. But Dr. Crook says that saccharine (Sweet & Low) is generally less of a problem than aspartame. Is this true? I've been using it some because I get really tired of Stevia. I also use a little Splenda OCCASIONALLY in baking, although I know that the maltodextrin in it must be terrible. MoreThis is a reply to # 286,232Just because it's not sweet enough (except the after taste, which is SUPER sweet). I don't know. It's just not a great sweetener as far as imitating Sugar goes. But nonetheless, I use it everyday. I've found a good one (liquid) that is actually blended with vegetable glycerine, so it tastes a little better. But the powdered stuff is not that good.

This is a reply to # 286,240Strange enough I spok with someone about the powder.
I use the leaves, you can boil it or put it in boil water and perhaps it will be better - if the powder is an instant powder than it passes through some chemicel-fit-process.
I also found some veg. lequid sweetnesser but it changed its appearance ofter two weeks which made me wounder is there hunny or Sugar or...
