I'm so sorry your family and so many others have had to endure such an emotional and devasting event. Without having family in that area myself I can only imagine the heartache and suffering those there and those with loved ones there are having to experience.

My thoughts and prayers will be that God will give each and every person strength, courage and one day soon peace.

We know a bit of what your all going through. My grandmother lost her house in the 1972 Hurricane Agnes Flood that hit Pennsylvania (Susquehanna river dikes exploded).

I was about 12 years old then. I remember my grandmother crying so hard when she saw the ruination of her home after the waters receded weeks later.

My mother got this inner strength and told her "we can start fresh-so let's get to it!"

My mother ended up living temporarily in a trailer til restoration was complete.

It's hard, very hard- but new beginnings will happen. I will keep you all in my prayers for a new beginning and a new start for your family . Hang in there,
