Yesterday, I received an email
message from Dr. Thomas Levy, the
man who's taken Linus Pauling's place as the guru of vitamin C in
mega-doses.
Dr. Levy said that he had cured two
cases of West Nile Virus in Boulder,
Colorado. He sent a cover story from
The Boulder Weekly which corroborated his claim.
Two men, one 68 and the other, 55,
were cured of year-long cases of
West Nile Virus when Dr. Levy
gave them mega-doses of vitamin C
intravenously. The older man was
cured in 30 hours. The younger men
had three drip-infusions, and was
pronounced cured.

This is a reply to # 269,396I am desperately looking for something that might ease with what I and others think to be WNV. I just today had blood taken and hopefully will hear something tomorrow. The first day that I knew something was wrong is when I became violently ill with such suddeness my head spun. Never have I been hit so hard and so low as this. It's been one week now. I really don't feel so bad now since taking some herbs. But when I exert myself, a sudden wave of feeling really bad becomes me and this will last a good couple of hours. I am so weak and tired and must get back to work. Any other information forthcoming will greatly be appreciated.

Vitamin C helps West Nile victim

Jack Butler came down with the West Nile virus during its big hit in 2003.
"I had mild fever and a constant headache, and I felt really dopey," the 70-year-old Longmont resident said. After about 10 days he went to the doctor, who urged he be tested for West Nile. Upon learning he was positive, Butler found out about Tom Levy, a Colorado doctor who's researched the effects Vitamin C has on viruses.
Levy has reported patients who have gotten better after taking high doses of Vitamin C intravenously.
About 30 hours after visiting Levy and undergoing a Vitamin C boost, Butler said his fever broke.
"It had very fast and favorable results," he said.
