ACV for Nail Fungus

Hello, is anyone here familiar with using ACV for nail fungus? I heard about it from another forum. Personally, I had always heard of white distilled vinegar for toe fungus but if ACV is more effective, I'm all for it! If this is correct, what type is best?- Re: ACV for Nail Fungus hmdoyle00

This is a reply to # 265,325I used just white distilled vinegar and had great results. Not sure about the ACV, but would think it would work because it is the acidity that matters. I just think that white vinegar is recommended because it is much cheaper than ACV.

This is a reply to # 265,327I just dabbed it with my finger around the base of the nail and along the edges where it meets the skin. That is where the fungus starts. I put enough on so it was very wet. Not sure about vinegar for athlete's foot, never had it. With the nail fungus, you have to make sure that you do it twice a day until a completely new nail has formed, and then for a couple months thereafter, otherwise, the fungus can jump to the new nail from the old and you will have to start the process all over again.- Re: ACV for Nail Fungus mgamez88

MoreThis is a reply to # 265,325Sorry Ruth - Don't know about ACV for fugus but I do know that Tee Tee Oil and Grapefruitseed extract is great because I have used them both for that reason - mainly for my toes.
You have to get an emery board and file your nail down as low as possible and apply the tee tree oil ( I also added some grapefruit seed extract). If it is on one of your toenails- you should cut it down as far as you can and try and apply the "above" up and under your nail.
This has worked for me. Let's face it- it's a fungus and funguses hate grapefuiteseed extract and tee tree oil!
I also found that after I applied the oils, I put on an old pair of socks and let it soak in!!
