I tryed the soap receipe with olive oil and sodiumhydroxide.
After two days the soap still had'nt set up. Some of the oil still seperated and I had to continue to mix it back together.
After reviewing other soap receipes I realized the temperature was'nt hot enough. So I set the soap out in the sun. The Temp only reached 85 degrees F but the mix started to solidify. I think the key to the receipe is not the hour but the temp. the Lye soultion gets to when adding the olive oil. Heat seems to be the key, an air condition environvent just does'nt work.
