Dear 61274,
I've been using Waterwise shower filters for
the last 8 years. They're easy to attach,
even for a klutz like me, and the filter
has a life expectancy of 15,000 gallons or
12 months. I change the filter once a year,
just after Christmas.
Waterwise also makes the world's best water
distillers. As I type, my Model 8800 is
making another gallon of pure water. Waterwise
is a first-rate company. They offer a 90-day
money-back-guarantee, if you're not satisfied
with their products.

You definitely want a shower-filter, no matter
what the brand. Your skin absorbs large amounts of chlorine from tap water, and you
inhale the vapors from other chemicals. Taking
a shower in tap water is risky business.
All that ingested chlorine is NOT good for
your digestive system.
Shop around. Home Depot has a cheaper filter,
but I think it needs to be replaced more often. Trust your intuition about which filter
or system to go with.
You're going to love the "soft feel" of your
filtered showers!
Blessings,
Owen
