my husband started two days after me, so he is on day 2 today - and he has felt horrid for the entire two days. Awful headaches both days, and today after his SWF, diarrhea started and continued for the rest of the day. He says he has gone 30+ times by now (10 pm) and feels totally depleated, not feeling great. We are drinking the same juice (I've been making our day's worth every evening)and I'm feeling awesome, no such plumbing problems. I have inspected the goods in question, and they seem to be not much different than my own DAY2 eliminations - except I only had them post Tea/SWF ... not ALL DAY LONG.
Any idea what is going on? This didn't happen to him on our last, failed attempt in January (failed b'c I bailed and pressured him to stop.) HELP!!

This is a reply to # 255,719Better out than in! Sounds like your husband is having a productive cleanse and this is a good thing. He may have to slurp some blackstrap molasses to keep his energy up but for now, everything sounds good to me. The first few days can be the most difficult although certainly there are lows which come and go throughout the cleanse.
Keep up the good work...it will get better and hopefully tomorrow!

MoreThis is a reply to # 255,719You should probably get him to drink Pedialyte. At that point, dehydration, electrolyte depletion, pH, salt, etc... may be entirely out of wack. I know the mix is for babies, but it's suggested for anyone with severe diarrhea. Please consider it. Otherwise the headaches will be worse than a hangover.

MoreThis is a reply to # 255,727Thanks guys! He's feeling a little more ... stable ... this morning, and just took off for work w/ two jugs of juice and the blackstrap bottle. Good thing he works in a natural foods store :) they totally understand.

This is a reply to # 255,727nix on the Pedialyte suggestion. Burroughs doesn't want you to change (or add anything new) to any aspect of the cleanse. No aspirin, no pedialyte. No nothing.
