I was just curious if this is just a coincidence or if anyone else got deathly ill after more than 15 days on the MC? I obviously wiped out my immune system.
I hadn't been sick, not even a sniffle for over 3 years. I am sicker now after NINE days of being sick, than I was in the beginning or the middle of this COLD! I cannot even talk now.
Has this happened to anyone else... or am I the lucky one - first timer?
Is there anything I could have done to prevent the immune system from crashing?

This is a reply to # 254,101Are you absolutely sure that you weren't in a healing crisis when you stopped the MC? For some people it is like having a really bad cold. Do you have fever?
If you did break during a healing crisis it does not stop after you have broken but continues on. It's not unusual to feel even worse after you have broken if you broke during a healing crisis.
On a side note, a fast is usually the quickest and best way to get through a regular cold - it shortens the span of the cold.

I have been deathly ill for about 5 days... can't sleep for the coughing never stops and is actually worse when I sit slump and or try to lie down. I have not been able to talk for going on 3 days now...
I was this sick over 15 years ago... and I am POSITIVE this is not a healing THING!
It is more like a NEAR DEATH THING!
Sorry... Hitler chose to call his RASH the MEASLES... when he had the clap.
No way in hell do I chose to call my "wish I were dead about now thing" a healing experience!

I don't go get shots and then become immune to Antibiotics .
