If you are dehydrated, it won't work. Or perhaps, excessively in need of minerals.
You are using the real
Sea Salt , aren't you? Sometimes it's hard for people to imagine they can be dehydrated, when it seems they're drinking plenty -- but you don't just reverse dehydration in a day or even ten days. If you are chronically used to being in a state ofdehydration, it takes time to remedy this, increasing your water intake slowly.
make sure you have enough liquid in the PM and try it again. 2 Tsp. to a
quart. It helps if it's on the hot side of warm, don't take too long to finish it, and also, as soon as it begins to flow, drinking (sipping) more warm water helps keep it moving...until the flush is complete.
I find the notion of chasing down the salt with straight water very strange...The idea is that the
quart with the salt dissolved is a perfect solution -- one that is not picked up by the kidneys, and causes no stress to the system, while running right through. I actually look forward to it. On the other hand, the shock of a small amount of excessively salty water, chased by water to dilute it, sounds unnecessarily confusing to the system. If the salt is good, and the water almost hot, it is rather like a pleasant broth.
