Black Butterfly
Today I attended a training for work. As those things go there was TONS of food- fresh fruit, muffins, crossants, sodas. Lunch was delish looking fried spring rolls or lumpia and some noddle-y delight. I turned up my nose at all of it and said, "no thanks, I'm fasting and I feel great"! There were even brownies...
Truth is, though it looked like something I might have enjoyed 4 days ago, I didn't really want it! I did want that fruit though, I could smell the pineapples. And even caught myself purposefully inhaling over the fruit bowl as I reached for yet another bottle of water- I must have peed 7-8 times in the 6 hours I was there.
Point my point is this: if I, a TOTAL foodie can do it, especially when every single other person in the room is eating and asking why I'm not, EVERYONE and ANYONE who really wants to be successful can do it.
I hope everyone's day was as empowering as mine. If you had a tough day, drink some water, treat yourself to a massage or pedicure or something and go to bed. I promise, it gets easier.
