Sipping or chugging seems to be a personal preference. There was a post about it in the FAQ which I had found when I was first investigating the
Master-Cleanse so I had gotten used to doing it that way. Slow, and with a mouthful at a time, perhaps a sip of water as a chaser on the days it was not my cup of "tea". I would like to add however that there is a body-mind connection which I found beneficial. The whole cleanse I envisioned as liquid *gold*, something to support my body and to flush out the toxins and amp my immune system etc. So, the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) I thought about the same way, each mouthful was contributing to my healing and so it never really fit into my vision to think negative thoughts about it. It did help too...so for me, it was/is the best way. Thinking positively and whether chugging or sipping, finding peace in your healing process.
Little tricks like imagining it is miso or veggie-less soup can work in a pinch too to convince your mind it is "part of the flow"...
