Great source for cheap lemons

If you have a Chinatown or the like in your city, check out an Asian Supermarket. I did and I found BAGS of lemons (granted, they were small) for ONE DOLLAR!!!!!
We're talking 10-12 lemons per bag. They are small and somewhat ugly lemons that the market didn't want to put in the bin and sell 3 for a dollar. But what a bargain, they still juice great and taste the same.- Re: Great source for cheap lemons hezcatt

This is a reply to # 247,459Yeah! I live in SF and go to my corner Mexican Market and get 12 lemons for $2. I always get weird looks when walking out with 36 lemons. heh. Definitely NOT organic but I am so not paying $1 for just two.
Also, (and most of you veterans probably know this) I get my maple syrup from my health food store and its in bulk form. Its organic and grade B and a really lovely dark color. Its just under $10 for 32oz. Amazing. - Re: Great source for cheap lemons barsoap

This is a reply to # 247,459You are absolutly correct. I also buy my lemons from the Asian markets in my state, they happen to be the ones that sell at the farmers markets also and mostly organic stuff. One store that I frequent sells them 5 for $99 and they are great in freshness! A little bigger than my organic supermarket!
I wish I could bag them up and ship to other members not able to find good lemons!!!
