Liver has allot of HISTORY
Today, grass fed liver can cost $12+ per pound.....
The 2 beef we just had butchered a brand new modern facility ---best I have ever seen----they take the liver and slice it then...I had never seen that before.
To us, it is dog food, along with the heart and all the bones, fats, etc.
I will eat a little ground steak, but never touched a sheep, no piggies any more and no organ meats....my parents were never into it, so never grew up with such things....
TODAY, the commercial meats can have so much hormone damage, loaded with gmo corn and vaccines that we stopped buying meat back 40 years ago---if do not raise it, try to not eat it when it comes to meats and eggs.
Salmon, Trout, and Sword Fish are the meats I like best..... FISH can literally some what like people----but the common cow? The common pig? The Common sheep??? The mammals can literally like humans ALLOT---especially pigs!!! Cows love their babies more than any human I have ever known loved their kids--- while fish I assume LOVE their offspring much less and Nature raises them...."IF" need to eat meats----FISH can be raised by the millions in the wilds; while raising millions of cows, pigs, sheep, chickens etc. takes allot of work, allot of pollution.
That said, asian countries would catch every wild fish in the oceans---if no one stopped them...they would eat every whale that ever lived..those that farm (rape) the oceans fill the waters with their broken nets...and often, they only wan t 1 small part of the fish and pitch 90+% back into thr ocean as "scrap".
