22 LR is one of the most dangerous guns ever invented----the slow bullet ricochets off the bones and bounces all over the insides--doing extreme damage compared to a high powered bullet that makes a straight path and exits.
Take a 22 rifle and shoot into the sky with the sun shining, use a plain "copper" plated lead bullet and you can easily see the bullet going through the sky and literally aim at your target as you see the bullet miss the flying object your shooting at.
The 22 bullet ricochets so easily------once as a kid I had a groundhog trapped in a muddy tile hole in the hay field and the groundhog was hanging on and i could not pull him out---so I took my 22 rifle and shot through the mud until the hog let go of its grip-----my dad paid me 5 cents for each ground hog because they destroy the field tiles and harm the field...... later when I went to remove my ball cap, when I grabbed it to remove it, I noticed it had 5 bullet holes through it----the 22 bullets had ricocheted back at my face. I did not show my parents out of fear they would take the gun from me, so i burned the hat. That hat would have been one of the greatest teaching tools of how dangerous the 22 bullets are.
