Last week I went to a naturopathic clinic for my first UV blood irradiation/ozone treatment. I am dealing with candida, blastocystis hominis, CKD (stage 2), Hashis, to name a few and the PA there thought UVBI would be a good idea. I had been having some abdominal pain of unknown origin but had recently gotten a urinalysis which found microscopic blood and bacteria in my urine.
I believe I killed the bacteria with ingested essential oils (oregano & Thieves) but as the blood was microscopic, I was unsure if that was treated or not. So I had some upper and lower abdominal pain when I went in for the UVBI. I felt fine during and after the treatment, but in the next few days, I noticed I was having to urinate more (every hour almost) but voiding less. I did not decrease the amount of water I was drinking. My stools also turned ashy grey, I lost my appetite, I felt dizzy and very fatigued.
I went to urgent care but the dr there didn't really know what to make of the combo of pale stools and decreased urine output so she told me to go to the ER. I am headed there now, but I thought I would ask here (if there's anyone still on these boards) if this is common with UVBI? Is there a chance this is all detox and it gets worse before it gets better? Or completely unrelated?
