moses is an interesting character. the story of the hebrews in egypt begins and ends in the palace of the pharoahs. joseph is of course a type of christ where he saves the whole world. moses was brought up and educated in all that egypt had to offer in pharoahs household and yet still had his real mother nursing (and teaching) him.

but thats not the real story. and not the whole story. and certainly not the most important part, though we do get a lot of info from the law of moses with real glimpses into the mind and character of god. keep that separate. there are the things of god and then there is man. the only man that ever exhibited only the mind and character and will of god is jesus. everyone else is a liar.

what is needed to understand it all is knowing who jesus is. by doing that, we know who god is.

adam is gods first begotten son. he made him with his own hands. this is the firstborn and first fruit. the gifts and callings of god are without repentance. ever wonder why we never hear about adam again? adam chose to die. eve is the mother of all living. so if the son of god is to be living, he must be born of a woman.

also, god does not fail. he made a son and he kept that son. the bible is all about adam. thats why when he came back in mary, he is called the word of god.

god is perfectly just; a lesson that is repeated over and over in the law. so if sin was brought into the world by one man, it is that man who should pay for all that sin. and so adam did, as jesus.

we are never told any of this. we are told the things that support this. like john the baptist. elijah slaughtered the prophets of baal. he also went to heaven in a fiery chariot and did not die. he had to pay for beheading the prophets so he was beheaded. he had to die once, so that also was done.

why wasnt abraham on th emount of transfiguration? why wasnt adam? well, adam was there as jesus. elijah was there having paid his debt. and moses was there. they all shone in th eglory of the lord. they all knew each other. this whole creation is all about adam. its working out just as it should. always has, always will.
