There were earlier papers from a UK med school and the Saulk Institute in CA on this subject. Dr. Rob Malone who had a patent for some of the core technology for the mRNA vaccines was working at Saulk when he appiled for the patent. He says Jonas Salk, inventor of the Polio vaccine, was still at the institute at the time.
