LeanAndClean
Hi Allbanni,
A friend of mine did the
Master-Cleanse for 10 days. He lost about 15 pounds. Over the next 3 weeks or so, he lost an additional 10
pounds while off the cleanse and is now in amazing shape.
Anyway, after coming off the cleansing procedure, what he did was alternate between eating higher carb and lower carb days; lifting weights on the higher carb days to build muscle, and doing cardio on the lower carb days to burn fat. This kept his body in great balance and he was able to raise his metabolism effectively.
He didn't measure out the calories, but he did eat 5-6 small meals every day, careful not to overeat too much, which was his problem before the cleanse. He said he ate until he was content, not until he felt full.
So basically it worked like this: Monday was low carb, Tuesday was high carb, Wednesday low carb, Thursday high carb, Friday was low carb, Saturday high carb, and he kept Sunday low carb. Then he repeated the same thing over again the next week, with Monday low carb. His intent was to get more cut so he did two back to back low carb days (Sunday and Monday). I'm sure if you want to build mass, you would make that Sunday a high carb day.
Anyway, the more muscle you have, the higher your metabolism, so I would guess you could just use that as a rule of thumb.
Good luck on your post cleanse lifestyle and keep posting! We all love to hear about post cleanse experiences and developments.
