I have to admit that it looks like you have a different issue than me, but just in case any of this information is helpful to you, I thought I would share it.
- I've heard from several sources that the spice Tumeric can help reduce inflammation. I'm using it in some of my foods and haven't had any bad reactions from it. I know there are Tumeric supplements out there too.
- I'm sure you've heard about Yoga before, but it really can help in some situations- I try to do it a few times a week. I'm doing an online work-out thing now, but you can also just google free yoga videos on youtube or find yoga classes at most gyms.
- I never thought I was really constipated, but I didn't really have 'normal' bowel movements. In case you have any irregularities or start to have any, the information I found on this radio interview transcript from Sept. 9th, 2015, might help- they also do other health topics, so going to their site could be helpful either way. It basically says 'some super common causes of constipation include insufficient production of stomach acid (HCL), the Anabolic Imbalance, and impaired bile flow,' but there is also more information in it. Unfortunately, Curezone won't let me post the link, but if you google 'kickitnaturally constipation'
you should be able to find it.
Also, the following link goes to a post on curezone by #156647, which made me think about beatin hcl in the first place. Besides taking beatin hcl with pepsin pills, this poster also suggested taking a digestive enzyme supplement, psyllium husk, and sticking to a low-fodmap diet (a diet that appears to help a variety of digestive issues) for a while. If you decide to try beatin hcl supplements do NOT take too many at once, because it can cause very bad acid reflux or in my case a big increase in odor. Now that I am only taking 2-3 pills before meals, along with 3 psyllium husk pills per meal, it seems to be helping. I do plan on slowly increasing the amount I take if needed. I also try not to drink TOO much water (while still staying adequately hydrated), because too much water can reduce stomach acidity levels to an abnormally low level- especially when you drink a lot during a meal. However, if you do NOT have low stomach acidity levels, you might not have to worry about drinking too much water. I've heard that in some cases, drinking a lot of water can be helpful. I also am drinking 1-3 cups of strong coffee a day, because it seems to help me have more regular bowel movements for now- even though I've read that in the long run too much coffee can start to reduce stomach acidity. Finally, I'm trying to eat small meals (sometimes just 2 meals a day, although I definitely don't plan on doing this in the long run) and not eat way too much in one sitting.
You can find more information on what a low fodmap diet is on the 'diet vs. disease' website, or you can just google it and there's information out there on it. Maybe this diet is not what you need for your issue, though.
I have to admit that I still haven't cured my severe/abnormal BO, but I just started trying the beatin HCL with psyllium husk approach very recently and so far it seems to be helping. I wanted to share what I know, just in case any of it is helpful, because I know from personal experience how much this issue can totally mess with a person's life. Good luck finding what works for you- I'm sure the answer is out there for you. Just keep looking up information- this forum is a good place to start. You can also google any/all of your symptoms (even if they seem unrelated- just be careful because there is also bad advice out there), go to other information sources, and/or go to other medical professionals (either traditional and/or homeopathic) if needed. Keep trying things and don't give up!
