Been doing a few of these foot detox baths. Today I tried cleaning my array in citric acid. Low on time I decided to juat dump the bowl of citric acid I had it soaking in, into the foot basin and get things started along with the salt.

20 min later the water was still clear, no discoloration around the array.

Dumped it and started fresh with just salt and things are back to rusty color 5 min in.

Anyone know the mode of action of the citric acid here?
