I believe EC can also be an allergic reaction to fungus in your gut or to some other form of dysbiosis.
Remember, healthy people are suppose to have over 1000 different species of microorganisms in their gut.
Those who used
Antibiotics usually have less.
Less of a good thing usually means more of a bad thing.
There are several people who cured EC by adopting some form of Candida Diet which usually means diet free from sugar, industrial products, and any high
Sugar foods and yeast , including sometimes all grains .
That means, in those people EC was most likely triggered by the content of their intestines, and chemicals produced by fungus or by some other microorganism may have played an important role in increasing the leaky gut or in triggering EC directly by a person being allergic to the products of the microorganisms.
One way to develop leaky gut is by creating dysbiosis.
And, leaky gut may be a way to trigger just about any skin problem including EC and eczema.
WHen dysbiosis is a direct EC trigger, or when a set of microorganisms inside your gut are directly triggering EC, it can be difficult to pinpoint the trigger to just one or several foods, as those microorganisms may flourish on many different foods.
That can make it very difficult to pinpoint problem foods by simply eliminating few food groups.
Nevertheless, the problem is still inside your gut, the problem is still with dysbiosis, with or without severe leaky gut, and one good way to prove to yourself that the problem is in your gut is to try one or more then one of the next several things:

All those things have potential to improve the gut flora, heal dysbiosis, heal leaky gut, and especially
Water Fasting is very powerful (long fast).
Coffee neema and
FMT are the easiest procedures, but
FMT involves other people, at least one extremely healthy person willing to "donate" his/her poop .
Liver Flushing takes a more work, but is still very simple, and you just sacrifice a few hours of your time .
Water fasting is the most powerful procedure, but it also asks for most discipline .
The first 3 days of any
Water Fast require a lot of discipline .
After the initial 3-5 days, you may be on an autopilot, may not have any hunger, meaning, you don't really need a strong will power or a strong discipline to continue fasting past 3-5 days.
Enema during the first days of fasting may help.
But, you can not be highly physically active while
Water Fasting , especially if you want to fast longer than just 7-10 days.
Also, it is easier to fast alone, not surrounded by people eating 3-4 meals a day.
Also, water fasting is far more easy during hot summer days, than during cold winter days .
