Hello, I am wanting to find out some info on water weight. I have done some research that I have found and posted in another thread but I wanted to ask some other scientific-minded fellow fasters of their experiences but more so the
Science behind the rapid returning of water weight as a result of glycogen water snatch and glycogen superconpensation... SPECIFICALLY how to NOT have such a huge haul of glycogen to carry around. It doesn't seem healthy that we haul around 2KG of glycogen for the "just-in-case"... Cant we reduce that, so that we are keeping our bodies cleaner (by using fat/debris) for fuel? (yes I know kept diet...0
I would like for my liver to not be so greedy and stop making up to 155% of my usual glycogen and retaining huge amounts of water as soon as I break my fast...
I have so far come up with breaking fast with extreme low-zero carb and following ketogenics (which i used to do for years) - as well as Intermittent fasting, with a workout just 30 mins prior to consuming food in the eating window of the I.F.
Glycogen super compensation seems to be fine for those wanting to BULK but not so much for those just wanting to be normal.
Can anyone shed some light on this matter... it seems that over time my body is becoming greedier and greedier for carbs to store much too much glycogen then I really need, hindering my cleansing. Every fast it seems to be getting worse.
Its not specifically a weight issue. but it may be for others.. Its more of a hindering fat burning/ cleansing, and I feel it somehow makes me crave carbs more and thus store more in a vicious cycle...
Anyone?
Best regards
