Check for intestinal worms, flukes, etc.
After two years of Hell dealing with chronic daily skin pustules (1 week being the longest "break"), and 5 dermatologists (Only 1 that did anything positive in my previous city, including scrapings that produced a diagnosis of abnormally high demomdex mite density), I decided to look inside and purchased fenbendazole oxibendazole and praziquantel (not taken all at the same time) and following horse weight dosage, this was enough to flush a substantial amount of worms and flukes (I also purcashed a $275 compound microscope).
Graduated to Valbazen (vet use liquid albendenzole) and "99.5% pure" praziquantel (made for koi fish pond treatment)...$100 total cost for 60+ day supply of both - equal to 800 mg per day (400mg every 12 hrs) of albendenzole and 25 mg/k/ x 2 per day praziquantel.
This is my 30th consecutive day without skin issues [excepting three evenings when that itchy scalp and beginnings of eruptions "seemed" to be starting up again - I zapped that with benzel benzoate "Happy Jack" dog mange spray and next day nothing].
My skin will forever be scared but it looks "normal" for first time in two years.
I experienced noteable fatigue and brain fog until 3 days ago when stool samples started to produce only a very small number of parasites remnants.
Im not stopping until 60 days passes, except I'm "Pulsing" praziquantel for one week on and one week off.
Albe and prazi synergize together (clinical evidence of this noted by research), and I'm covering my bases in order to put a large dent in any cysts that might exist...may extend to 6 months, but will evaluate after 90 days (60 of treatment followed by 30 day break).
I moved to new city at the end of last year, and experienced great frustration in getting ID doctor appt - I am resigned that it is going to be up to me and my research ability and commitment to finding a cure that will be the only way I will beat this.
This is not medical advice and you need to do research, and hopefully find a doctor who will put effort into discovering what you have (this has been the most frustrating and demeaning experience I have ever had dealing with doctors).
My very best wishes to you!
