I was recently thrown out of a cruise ship and sent to the hospital emergency room at St. Thomas Island. It was a SEVERE Asthma Attack that left me gasping for air and a blue face, very close to death!
Why the Asthma Attack? We were watching the cruise ship live stage show in an auditorium filled with 3,000 people! After every show, I left the theater gasping for air. On the last night, it was a 2 hour show, and my attack sent me to the ship medical team. All of those people packed into the theater had sucked all the oxygen out of the air, starving me of oxygen ! I needed an oxygen generator to watch that show.
My blood oxygen level as measured by the fingertip Oxymeter had dropped below 80, and they put me on oxygen and a nebulizer with chemicals into my lungs. Also steroid treatments directly into my veigns. They could not get my oxymeter above 90, so sent me to the hospital.
Bottom line: Use an inexpensive Oxymeter attached to your finger to monitor your lung efficiency, and treat the lungs with a nebulizer until the oxy is 100%
Chemicals used are ventolin mixed with other drugs.
