Parasitic disease is more common than many people and doctors would like to admit. My own experience has opened my eyes to serious flaws and unethical practices in the medical community.
I became noticably ill this past summer. I had seen numerous specialists and have several tests conducted and all I ever received was more of symptoms diagnosed that were all deemed idiotpathic. Some of them were: cranial nerve dysfunction, nystagmus, livedo rectularis, muscle spasms, spasmodic dysphonia, tinnitus and more recently seizures. As I pushed for answers doctors instead forced a diagnoses of fibromyalgia on me. I was not accepting of this and through my own research it became undeniably clear I have a parasitic worm disease.
Cysts have developed over all areas of my body and I became aware of passing them, seeing them in my eyes and having worm tracks all over my skin. I was glad I had figured it out, but that joy was short lived when I found out how the medical community reacts to anything parasite related. Doctors dismissed my claims and even had the nerve to tell me I had parasitosis. It was at that point I realized the doctors already knew the truth about my illness. That was even more evident when I found old scan reports indicating cysts has developed in my organs over a year ago and no one told me about it. Therapeutic privilege is a legal practice that allows doctors to withhold information from patients in certain circumstances. I knew that I would have to fight to get help with this. I tried showing evidence, that seldom got my anywhere until I decided to play dirty like they do. I openly admitted I had taken diet pills containing parasite eggs that were purchased online; with the intent of weight loss. at that point doctors were reluctantly forced to listen and began to acknowledge physical proof I had tried to show them before.
Getting it diagnosed in one shot was still seemingly impossible, so I went to multiple doctors to have things diagnosed little by little. Some examples are I went to the ER and made a doctor feel the cysts in my arms. He wanted to run a scan, I denied the scan. The reason why is they had already lied on my previous scans. I opted to tell him, look you felt them in my arms, so go ahead and document that their are unknown growths in my arm. He knew he had no choice but to document something, so I was pleasantly surprised when the discharge parts indicated cysts in the skin and muscle tissue. He knew they were cysts and I forced acknowledgement.
Another example is a trip to the eye doctor where I showed them the cysts in my eye, they also weren't to thrilled to document this but I told them I have a right to have it documented and they did.
It's these little things that will add up to my diagnoses.
I still have no official diagnoses but I am very close to that now. I want to let people know, do not give up! You have to do whatever it takes to get help. Do not be timid stand up for yourself. I even called the department of health in my area because this is considered an infectious disease and I have a right to know about it and be diagnosed.
I believe many doctors know and withhold parasitic diseases from patients and call it fibromyalgia. The reason being is fibromyalgia has no known cause. If you are ill why accept a diagnoses with no known cause? Listen to your body and your intuition; pay attention to your symotoms and do your research. I firmly believe all illness has a true cause behind it; thats either undiscovered or deliberately hidden from patients. I don't think it's always going to be parasites behind unexplained illness, but there is always an underlying cause. I hope this message helps anyone who is suffering with illness, don't give up because time always reveals the truth.
