I was listening the Yes – Owner Of A Lonely Heart , while read your post
Interpretation About the lyric meanings :
”the video is quite different from the song itself... some people have described it as a "1984" scenario where the government controls the population completely. the main character in the video has a moment of clarity, wanting to escape from the tyranny of the society he lives in. at that moment government agents arrest him for his thoughts of freedom and individualism. He later jumps off a building to escape from their control and he turns into a bird, representing freedom. in the last scene of the video he is once again walking in the crowds of people where he started and it seems everything has just been a dream. However the lesson of the dream is not lost on him and he turns around, presumedly throwing off the chains of the rat race. It's bit tenuous but perhaps they are saying that taking your own path in life may be "lonely" but it is better than wasting your life / having a broken heart”
”I think it’s about a guy/gal who is open to getting close to new people but would rather dump the person than get a broken heart because they have felt the pain of a broken heart and never want to feel that kind of pain again”
”He is an eagle in spirit, his enemies are the evil creatures which try to attack him. They represent the evil thoughts or influences that attack each one of us. But an eagle can not only defeat these creatures in the natural, it can also fly away to escape them. His problems are all brought on by his conformist mindset, and to be free he needs to go his own way, "follow his own will" or the will of God. and become the true eagle inside, his true self, or what God has created him to be.”
So maybe people in this world is way too much cowards to even follow their real
bonafide, and instead do just as the goverment (authority ) illuminati aka satanistas hope they do ?
Gosh...anyone know for real what the lyrics really mean ? Not the first time i wonder this one...
