WOW! Yesterday was the worst so far. I was caught off guard because my "bad" days are usually over by the end of day 6.
My blood pressure was crazy yesterday. It would drop low (94 over 58), then go to 100/90. I felt nauseous all day, dizzy off and on, and couldn't drink any lemonade at all. Just my tea and water. Kept the fluids going, and did have a few small bm's.
I went to bed around 7pm, and slept til 10pm. I woke up and had a few chores I HAD to do before hubby left for work at 5am. These kept me up until midnight. Then I slept soundly until 6am. Now I feel much better. Already been in the bathroom this morning, and feel like I will be able to drink the lemonade today. BP is 100/69, pulse at 65 (my normal resting pulse is around 100).
Thanks for everyone's support. I made it through my toughest day yet, and will continue to push on.
Weightloss update (scale didn't move yesterday): 1 more pound, down to 234. I'll only be losing about 3-4 pounds/week from here.
Exercise: I have a bow-flex that has been gathering dust. We pulled it out last week and set it up in the family room. I've been using it every day. Leg exercises, and arm/shoulder exercises. I was only able to do a few minutes yesterday due to extreme fatigue, but haven't had any other problems. Generally, I am aiming for 20 minutes of bowflex per day. I will alternate areas worked on. I also walk for about 20 minutes/day. I live on a hill, so the first half is easy; return is pretty steep climb. I am feeling a few sore muscles, but nothing really bad.
Attitude: Back on track today. Really wanted to cave yesterday, but made it through with support from the board and my family. I am still committed to not "eating" until June. Still may switch to juice fasting at some point this month. Going to hit my goal of 30 lbs off (to 320) before I break my fasting.
Thanks again to everyone for your support and encouragement. Let's keep the board going and support each other on our journeys to health!
