Is distilled water needed, or is it okay to just use big berkey filtered water? How much does water quality matter?
Distilled water is not only the best for fasting, but everyday drinking, and cooking.
I've always used my tap water, but I live in a location where chlorine and flouride are not added to the water supply.
According to Waterwise distiller co., There are 28 different possible contaminants that could be in tap water.
That doesn't mean they are in everybodys tap water, but that's 26 more than what you mentioned.
Bottled water only is free from chlorine only
Carbon filter removes 9
Reverse Osmosis with a carbon filter removes all but 4. Of those 4 only 3 partially.
The company claims with their distiller with a carbon filter they remove all 28.
Yea, it would sound better if it was from an independant source, but pretty ridiculous to think there are only two possible. [chlorine, and fluoride].
Just FYI
