Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum a have a very serious question. Please forgive me if it's vern answered...so I went to the dentist today to have a VERY small hole looked at. He decided to fill it at this time. I was given the option of a white filling ($50) or a silver filling (free). Of course being the dentally uneducated person that I am, I went with free...oh how I regret that decision...fast forward a few hours, for some reason I looked up fillings. I HAD NO CLUE THIS FILLING CONTAINED MERCURY!!! What the heck! So needless to say, I went Google crazy...my question is since I got it done today, is it possible and a good idea to have this filling taken out and replaced with the non mercury filling? I'm really concerned and don't know if I should be freaking out right now. I have two other fillings with the same material but they were done when I was in middle school...I'm 28 now
