I have discovered black mold in a window air conditioner (which has been making me sick). I have removed the a/c.
Now I wonder how much & what kind of cleaning I need to do in my apartment to be sure all the mold is gone. I have 3 HEPA air filters running and I'm vacuuming w/ a HEPA vacuum. I don't see other places where mold is growing (but it took me a while to realize this problem was coming from the a/c.
Note: I have lung and skin symptoms - which will take some time to go away even if the mold is gone - so I can't reliably "feel" that it is all gone.
Any advice will be most welcome!!
