Has anybody done a flush with the period just starting?

I am just minutes away from the oil/grapefruit intake and just discovered my period has arrived. That might explain the headache I already have.
Anybody has any opinion? Should I go on? or should I stop it?
Is it advisable to do the Liver Flush with your period?
