Hi, good for you doing the 10 water fast.....I couldn't imagine anything harder then a water fast.
Most people say that day 1-3 is the hardest but for me day 1-7 is really hard. 5-7 on this fast I had a tough time not breaking. This is my 4th
Master-Cleanse and going in I knew that the first 7 days were going to be tough so I prepared myself mentally and by making sure my schedule was clear of anything social that might jeopordize me in my first week. I also found myself getting moody and depressed on a few nights and wanting to break but instead I took my tea and went to bed early (even if I wasn't tired).
But today is day 9 and yesterday (day 8) was my best day yet feeling great mentally and no hunger or urges at all. I think the fast is different for everyone (everyone has different things going on with their bodies, minds, stress levels,and social engagements being around food) as far as what days will be the hard ones for you, who knows......but there will be hard times (or hours) throughout the fast and having a plan is the best thing. When I feel like breaking I made a promise to myself that I will do 4 things first then see if I want to break, I drink a large bottle of water (chug it down), then I drink a lemonade (also drinking it down fast), then I make a peppermint tea and sip on it giving myself and hour to reflect on why I started this fast in the first place.
I'm on day 9 and plan on doing a 30 day cleanse and would love to have an email buddy. Although do not want to post my email on the board because of spammers. I will try and set up an anon. account and will post it.
Keep trying if you can do a 10 day water fast.....you can do anything!!!!!
