Hello all,
I have posted about this before a few times and I got the answers. But I am soooooo frustrated and just do not have how to handle this situation.
I have a very smart daughter who has been on all kinds of meds for last ten years. My wife loves giving our children drugs at a very small sign of discomfort displayed our children. My daughter takes antidepressants even though it seems to me she is not depressed. She now has a huge abdominal pain and bloats up so much that she sweats and almost passes out. I sent her to a MD/ND and he said that she has bacterial overgrowth and hyper insulinism. She followed some things he said, like don't eat sugar, milk, wheat etc. She did this for a few weeks and felt 100% better. Then she decided to go to a gastroenterologist, and the idiot said that nothing is wrong with her, it nothing to do with
Sugar and wheat, it is a new trend, gallbladder. He is gearing towards removing her gallbladder. She has no clue why he is saying all the scans indicate she has some gallbladder problems. I asked her to just take some
Epsom Salt in warm water and she refused. But when my wife heard that
Sugar is not her issue as per the idiot Doctor, she said let's celebrate and gave her all sugary stuff and filled up the fridge with candies and ice cream.
Today she had a massive attack and we had to take her to the ER.
My daughter is only 27 and she has issues like an old woman.
She basically lives on junk food. My wife gives her nachos every single night made in microwave.
Everytime I say anything that will help my daughter my wife tries the opposite.
I know that my daughter had taken a lot of
Antibiotics and that tells me that her gut microbium is out of balance. Also she had her share of drinking in college.
So knowing what I know from curezone and my ND, she is on a wrong path and I can't do anything. I have given her all the good books about gut microbial and depression, but she throws them aside. She is brain washed by all commericals on TV.
It is so frustrating. What can I say or do? Watch from far away and see her slip away?
Thanks.
