I'll try to cut to the chase here. After 6 straight weeks of a broad spectrum antibiotic, followed by 1 week of Macrobid (and just finishing another round about 6 weeks later) due to a bladder infection that became resistant (no one cultured til I went to ER). I've had a yeast infection that will not go away, not even with Diflucan. Monostat will knock it down (maybe out but not sure). I'll have another one within a week later. I've got other signs of Candida that looking back have probably had a very mild version (rashes, etc) for a few years.
I Google for hours and can only find people talking about how the beginning is so hard due to the lack of food and they lose so much weight, etc. I got a book, seemed ok, but a lot of protein being eaten and I know that's bad when trying to heal a gut, let alone we weren't made for digesting meat.
The only place I've found that seems like what others "complain" about as far as hunger and weight loss is the site that sells Probacto. It's very thorough but feel the list of foods in the 2nd stage (after 1-7 days of the
Bentonite & veggies only) list is too small. If not, I'll deal if it means getting better.
Anyone familiar with this site and their stages/protocol? Is there a place or book I'm just not finding? I'm never hungry on these recipes in the book I have due to protein, and of course every book (which isn't many) are so different. If I eat tomato soup or salad with chia seeds, etc then I'll feel hunger pains. But I've felt no die off even with supplements. Just nasty goop in my poo, and vag.
I want to get healthy again and actually be intimate with my husband again without fear of yeast.
