This is long. But this is not simple stuff, so hopefully you are used to this.
Ok, I am 13 months into pretty serious dedication to my own personal variant of the cutler protocol. From which I have had, overall, huge success.
I will tell you my current dilemma. and then I will retroactively crash course you on my total experience, with the protocol and treating myself. via a separate thread.
crash course thread on my mercury and chelation experiences:

Current dilemma:
1. February 1st, 2016, was my 1 year mark, of actually chelating and using the cutler protocol. Starting mid december 2015, after tons of benefits over many months, I started to feel like I was hitting a wall. I don't mean like, ok, take a break, then start again. I mean no more benefit. My last bit of perceivable benefit, came in early/mid January. Since then, I have not perceived any benefits from cutler protocol chelation.
I have, essentially, one problem left to fix: Many of the nerves in my body, usually in areas of frequent bending, stretching, or pressure: are very sensitive and vulnerable/easily hurt. This has been true for a long time, but seems considerably worse, than ever.
a. the simple weight of laying in bed, seems to be enough to put crushing pressure on nerves in my back and pelvic/buttocks areas. I do not have back problems, such as bulging discs or alignment issues and get maintenance adjustments from a naturalistic chiropractor, as I deem necessary. I am currently having trouble walking, with pain radiating into my groin and testicles, due to one such laying in bed, injury, affecting a nerve channel extending into my right glute and groin.
b. I am woefully inflexible (have been for years) but recently, often get overstretch injuries, from mundane movements, such as crossing over while getting out of bed (arm across chest, push up from bed, to lift upper body), bending over to pick stuff up, reaching upward to get something from a high shelf, etc.
c. In february I suddenly had symptoms in both wrists which one may attribute to carpal tunnel or something like that. Except I have never had problems like this, before. and don't have poor habits. My wrists are very sensitive and easily hurt from doing things as strenuous as playing bass guitar or as simple as pumping some hand soap, or cutting ham with a knife. The injurty actually seems to originate in the forearm, near my elbows. but ultimately hurts up into the wrist and hand.
overall, my nerves seem hypersensitive and ready to be irritated and injured, at the slightest provocation in daily life.
Because I've been on chelation protocol (with DMSA and R-ALA) for 1 year: I have thought maybe I have removed too much of the good stuff. Despite trying to keep a good supportive diet and taking some key supplements, maybe it has caught up with me. Maybe I need to supplement more, to get extra magnesium, zinc, chromium, etc, as Chelating now seems to make certain areas of my body, such as my wrists, worse, now.
I've had some cheap magnesium/zinc pills for a long time. Typical magnesium oxide, etc. with magnesium stearate in there. You know, typical cheap stuff from Wal-Mart. I have taken it semi-regularly, along with my supportive diet. (broccoli, beets, cocoa powder, nuts, etc) and several other anti-oxidants, aminos, the IMD silica product (which I get no noticeable benefit from) etc. all gleaned from Chris Shade videos, Andy Cutler, and some other sources.
but again, I have wondered if maybe I have removed too much good stuff, despite my efforts.
First, i tried some chromium. I took one dose a day, for 3 or 4 days. Not long after, I started to feel really bad. everything was worse and some stuff which had been fixed for awhile, started to return. neuropathy and nerve circulation issues, aching and tightness in groin and pelvic floor, nerves even more sensitive, other specific areas feeling particularly worse, etc.
So I chelated it out. DMSA seemed particularly useful, in this case, after the chromium. I chelated for a few days, until I felt like it was all out.
Then I found out about magnesium oil. How taking magnesium pills is supposedly a poor way to get magnesium, as compared to absorbing it, topically. The "Ancient Minerals" brand seemed to be a good one. I bought some. dilluted it 50/50 and rubbed it onto my most problematic areas.
Within minutes, the nerves in those areas started twitching and hurting. In ways I had not experienced in a long time. I waited the directed 20 minutes and then took a shower. The next morning, the applied areas felt tight, numb, bad. and that persisted, all day. So I chelated it out. Again, DMSA seemed particularly effective, here.
So I thought ok, maybe my body doesn't like taking in magnesium chloride, through the skin (magnesium chloride is the main ingredient in ancient minerals magnesium oil). so I tried an oral dose. I have a 1/4tsp scoop, which I filled to less than half, with magnesium oil. Mixed it into a glass of water and drank it.
about an hour later, I started to feel really bad. Like overdose on chelators, but in reverse. I had the perception that what I had taken, was going into my head (and possibly brain), it was dumping into my testicles and hurt very badly. Pelvic region, knees, wrists, neck, back/spine----all of my problem areas felt like they were being re-populated with bad stuff.
It didn't feel like mercury (in my own personal experience, I can specifically feel mercury when it is coming out or at least being stirred up. It is a very specific ache and/or sharp pain). but the oral dose of magnesium oil felt bad, all the same.
So I chelated it out. Again, DMSA felt most useful, here. that was about 1 week ago.
Now I am back to my usual diet of foods rich in sulphur and good metals, such as zinc and magnesium. Most of my supplements (aminos anti-oxidents, etc) are bulk powder. but, some which are not, I got rid of, if they had magnesium stearate in them.
but my hypersensitive nerves, remain. wrists are weak. back is sensitive and vulnerable. neck is sensitive and vulnerable. rib cage. inner ears. etc.
I now that's a lot, but any ideas? Anyone with similar experience?
