Ringers indeed.
Fine work, CLEW.
Theader's thread a landmark in this, IMO.
And this one too.
If nematocystic activity is indeed involved, and the indications on the face of it are highly suspicious, then it is to sufferers to go the next step and trigger such on cue.
I was going to go over the top in tech and decided to keep it rock solid simple.
Something that everyone can do without a lot of hassle.
One of these:
https://www.radioshack.com/products/radioshack-fully-insulated-9v-battery-snap-connectors?variant=5717208773
A nine volt battery.
A microscope that can take videos.
Some water/moisture to conduct.
As those fellows in Australia in one of the vids in that thread used a simple 9 volt battery to trigger nematocysts in jellyfish tentacles, that is the place to start, IMO.
I've taken it to rock bottom simplicity for myself and was looking at the, "farm," yesterday.
Meaning, a field of the seeming fungal/protozoal portion in the wild... which means, for the uninitiated.... not on a host... yet.
Just allowed them to go nuts under a shelf.
They, "wave," like sea anemones anchored and waving in the water.
Remind me of a passel of hydra anchoring themselves.
The growth on some is pretty impressive.
Time to harvest some.....
This thread, with your personal pictures matched to pics on the web, tells/shows us exactly what to look for to up the odds, the chances, of success in making The Thing run, pop...... trigger.
I will be looking for this on my skin.
It will be a new day, an important chapter, if a number of people can accomplish this... and continue to accomplish this.
If such is accomplished, it means more questions.
Work laid out to do.
