I'm as bad as you, now my head is concerned, my veins are very pronounced, sometimes I think it can only be myiasis, because it is so agresiv and you can see it from the outside, my face has dimples to ask where they moved that something finally went through my nose, my forehead is where the red. there must be something happening in the brain, because I had an ischemia. Yes, I am also very scared , especially because we dont have a doctor, who deals with as, we are left to asself and forums like this one. I envy people who have a diagnosis. if you have Toxocara, febendazol is the right medication, maybe you should stop ivermectin and doxi and febendazol reduce dose, so that your body can destroy it slower now. in the literature
Toxocara do damage to tissues, what happened with you and me, I am negativ too.

This is a reply to # 2,300,503My muscles are so badly deteriorated that it's hard to hold up my arms even to type on a keyboard. I can't even do dishes, my arms, hands, fingers tire from the scrubbing after a few seconds. It's almost like I have ALS..I get such bad muscle fatigue. Seems to get worse instead of better.
Yes, my wife has tested positive for Toxocara thru the lab in Utah, ARUP. I feel like I am slowly dying. Thanks for all the advice. I've got someone helping me dose for both Toxocara and Strongyloides.
I will keep you all updated. As long as my vision holds out anyway. It's getting worse and worse all the time.

This is a reply to # 2,300,511I know the brain fog/memory relate issues and eye sight problems can come from Toxocara infection.
These will clear up in time.

The Strongaloids will take longer from what I have read here.
I did not have them.
I am still evicting the Toxocara, 3 months. Fewer now. The Doxy will help correct the gut bacterial balance which will help with absorption.
You need to consider taking supplements, and probiotics.
Willow Bark tea for the pain and to keeping the veins open and flowing.
Keep the digestive system moving.
Magnesium citrate or Magnesium sulfate if you can or laxatives for very short term, better to use minerals.
If your wife tested positive for Toxocara, she still has them!
They do not just give up and leave.
You have to evict them! (kill them).
Yes there are risks with the meds, the option of giving up, is not a question!

This is a reply to # 2,300,615Hi Buddy - not sure if you are still on the forum, but wanted to mention that you could be anemic. The symptoms you just described above was me several years ago - but literally I had been that way for a while. I went to my doctor who did a CBC and Iron, TIBC, Ferritin and transferrin saturation test. I had a vitamin B-12 deficiency. The later test showed I didn't have enough of what was needed to bind the Vitamin B-12 to the iron to process. I'm sure that are other medical folks on here who can explain it better than I can. Only explaining this because if all they do is do the blood test and find out if you are anemic it will help. My doctor explain that it takes years to become vitamin B-12 deficient. I now take a vitamin B-12 daily. It took nearly 2 years of taking the B-12 but now all my blood numbers are normal. I had 8 different factors that were off - so I think that vitamin B-12 is pretty awesome. Being tired like you are - blood work up might be a good place to start. By the way, I'm sure mine were caused by my worms - flukes (lots of them) and threadworms - had tapes as well. Hope you are all better by now.

This is a reply to # 2,300,511I had to stop ivermectin, because the sense of movement, prints and itching was so intense that I was afraid. with albendazole was quiet, try without ivermectin.

This sounds like a Strongyloides infection and this is a place where one could pick it up. Though, it could be a type of filiariasis.
Steroids are contraindicated for those with a strongyloides infection because a hyperinfection will develop.
This parasitic infection affects the muscles, the lungs, the stomach, GI tract, etc....
Ground zero, for the United States, was the state of Hawaii and it has spread to at least half of the mainland states and worldwide.
I hope you have found effective treatment.
The treatments I am aware of for this condition include:
1. Ivermectin with Albendazole. Albendazole added to Ivermectin enhances the kill rate.
2. Ivermectin injections - 15 mg/day for an average sized male. 1 week on, 1 week off, 1 week on. May need to repeat.
Injections are very effective because the Strongyloid worms burrow into the the lining of the stomach and intestines and significantly affect the absorption of medication and foods.
3. Diatomaceous Earth, x2/d, daily, minimum 6 months.
4. Tribendimidine (available in China, unsure where else)
5. Tribendimidine + Ivermectin

First off, Fenbendazole has some neurological effects itself. I read that before I started taking it. It is the reason it is not approved for human use. But, it's a risk trade off. I take it anyway.
Secondly, and most importantly, you need to get some serrapeptase as soon as possible. This is made from silkworms and is the enzyme they use to dissolve their own silk. Taken orally it dissolves the crap in your body that blocks veins and arteries.
I've been taking it for quit a while now and have had no negative side effects. You have to start slow but as you build up it will help break down the dead worms
Thirdly, I think you might want to try pulsing Albendazole. Although it also can have side effects it appears to work better than the Fenbendazole on the eye worms.

This is a reply to # 2,300,573I hope you found serrapeptase by now. I found it when I sort of "fell on it" at vitamin shoppe. There are actually 2 others that have similar effects. I bought them but have yet to try them.
I think if you look for serrapeptase on Amazon the others will show up in the search. One of them has been found to be much more powerful than the serrapeptase. Sorry I didn't save the research.
I did tremendous research on fenben but although I saw lots of stuff stating that it had nuerological effects I never found a medical journal that said exactly what that effect was.
Veterinarian journals caution about using fenben on cats for the same reason but still no statement of what the effect is.
It is the only thing that works on my cat.
The positive thing I see is that fenben must cross the blood brain barrier or it wouldn't cause effects to the brain. I've also tried Oxibendazole because the dosage is so much lower but I didn't think it worked well.

This is a reply to # 2,300,507i've not heard that. fenben is not well absorbed from the gut, which makes it somewhat safer/has less side effects than albendazole or mebendazole.
