They say it's not as good on the next day because the enzymes lose their potency over time or something. def. keep it in the fridge though, at least. um. . . it's probably waaaay better than anything else you'd normally be ingesting even left overnight, but in the future, make it as you go.
I add the cayanne when i drink it too;) it def. makes it more bearable. if it's even left for a few hours with the pepper in it, it's too bitter for my taste.
6-12 glasses is what is recommended, but in the first two days I could only get 5 down. Last night I finished my 6th, though and I'm hoping today that'll be the case again. 6 glasses = 600 calories, too so the more the merrier for your activity level.
Best of luck to you. I know you'll start to feel better tomorrow and in the following days. Just keep drinking the lemonade and make sure you get LOTS and lots of water. If you have any headaches, that will relieve them significantly if not entirely.
