This is a really nice post by the webmaster. a keeper.
Yes, that's the drink! I really grew to love it--
my preferred way to take the kelp is to put a tsp. or so into the tablespoon I'd dripped the BSM into. That is, I left some on the spoon, and the kelp sticks to it. Then it's easier to get the powder controlled, and get it into the mouth. Then you kind of roll it around, so the powder doesn't make you cough--if that makes sense.
Another way to do it is to mix up a little paste of the bsm and the kelp. Kind of like you're making wasbi paste. It makes a nice ball you can chew up. This kind of savoury flavour combined with the unique taste of "Unsulphered Organic" bsm was a great start, for me, and then I'd drink the drink.
(the kind I like is Wholesome brand. Tried some others and they can be awful.)
How much?
Maya, aka "Invincible", who's an applied kinesiologist, tested some of us over on the ML forum, way back, to see how much for each person to take...
Y'know, come to think of it, had I started into
Water Fasting without first doing some remineralization, the wfast would probably not have been a good idea. People who are seriously acidic are usually minerally-deficient these days too. Something to think about. It would be a shame to be using up all one's mineral stores just to buffer the acid waste a
Water Fast can
'liberate'.
With the ML drink, for some, too much too fast would be quite difficult, as it does release acid waste, as the body senses -finally! it is getting some good minerals, etc.
I started with one a day; sometimes took two. Was not really feeling sick, but I had started to notice after I bent over with vacuuming, I could not straighten up right away. And had lots of little aches and pains.
Do you do any kind of muscle testing or dowsing? Any kind of kinesiology? Perelandra has a simple online tutorial, for how to test your own energy. Rather than going to "experts", I like to just ask myself. . . Not my intellect, but using the body like the tool/receiver it is.
In the absence of using myself to get the answer, I'd start with One drink, lemon, not ACV, using 1. T limewater; 1/2 a tsp. kelp or so. Start slow, and see how that goes for a week or so. . .
you might start to crave it. I found it a lifesaver, one really hot summer when I painted a friend's apartment. She was getting very acidic (the heat ) and I was feeling really good. I turned her onto the drink--she liked it better than coffee. The best thing about it , as I remember it, is the way it kept the energy even through the day. I think it sorted out my hypoglycemia, which used to be an issue all through childhood into adulthood.
