I disagree with you. I think there is a universal cure to ec. it is caused by letting them dry out. saliva is the ONLY cure for this condition. I had it for 10 years and it was just as bad as anyones. I went through the endless cycles of peeling and letting the scab up over and over again because I kept thinking they would heal. well the longest I left the scabs on was for 3 1/2 weeks which is a really long time. they were nasty. I eventually had to use saliva and nibble the scabs off because they would not fall off on there own. and again I would still go back to no saliva and drying out the lips and forming scabs. its a endless cycle. ive been cured for 7 years. im not the only person to heal them with saliva. jp20 and neitzcheilitis healed theres using saliva. saliva in anti-inflammatory and will first cure your inflammation, then it is antibacterial so it will cure your bacteria infection, then it serves as a lubricant. it is 99.5% water. I do claim to have the universal cure but nobody seems to want it. the best cure is this. put on some chapstick the put saliva on over your chapstick. the chapstick will seal in the moisture from your saliva(moisture) and all your problems will go away. you can believe me or not it is up to you. but I have the cure to this for everyone. saliva will never cause damage to your lips nor will nibbling the dead skin off.
