If you have one it probably wouldn't hurt to try it since it's connected to your spine. If nothing else it should get more blood to that area.
I would go slow. Mine has ajustments that allow you to set the table up so you go down head first just by raising your hands and arms to go down as slow as you want. That way you can stop at any angle if you have any problems.
Probably wouldn't hurt to have somebody close by just in case.
Do you know how it became that way? If you injured it, maybe a chiropractor would be better.
