The first day is much as I expected: mild low back ache from stool burden and intestinal irritation. My right knee, injured from a too-heavy squat (going for a personal one rep maximum of 330-- if there is any sport more potentially ego-driven and damaging than powerlifting, I'd like to know it-- perhaps sprinting)-- anyway, my right knee is chatting about what a bad idea that was. Since it hadn't hurt for at least six months, perhaps this is the first thing on the menu to be repaired. It's unlikely I'm healing yet, since I'm still running off of Thanksgiving yesterday.
All goes well. I won't post daily, but wanted to mention that knee.
