Hi everyone. I'm not the kind of person to post messages on blogs, but I hope that my story can bring hope to people who have been/are going through what I went through. With that being said, I am not a doctor and am not attempting to say that the LEEP is not an appropriate treatment for cervical dysplasia. I just made the personal choice that it wasn't for me and found a nonsurgical treatment that turned out to be successful.
The story starts when i went at one of the best gynaes in my city. She performed some medical tests and found that I have Cervical HPV and cervical dysplasia. I remember the first thing I did was break down crying. When first diagnosed I could not believe that something like this had happened to me I had two partners my whole life and serious relationships, worst of all I found out that my current boyfriend (who I had been with for a while) had cheated on me and had not used condoms. I felt disgusting, lost and suicidal. I can't say how many treatments I had to get for my Cervical HPV . I had to choose between LEEP and the treatment recommended by my obgyn . The big choice was the treatment. The number one person that helped me through this process is my doctor who recommended me one of the best treatment for Cervical HPV named Cervugid Ovules (vaginal suppository). First I took 3 boxes of Cervugid Ovules with break between them 7 days each box and after 6 months another 3 boxes.
My next visit to obgyn resulted in a negative lab result for Cervical HPV, my pap smear came back to normal and no sign of erosion. Now I am free of cervical HPV infection. My message for women is to prevent cervical HPV from happening. Don’t wait! Go for your regular physician check-ups. You don’t want to be surprised with these results like I was.
