I'm really unsure right now as to whether I should pursue thyroid blood testing.
Here are my symptoms:
Neuropathy (mainly in feet, sometimes in hands): burning, tingling, pins and needles, painless throbbing (like a heartbeat) and sometimes muscle twitching and very sharp stabs of pain in my big toes
Headaches: very painful headaches that feel like a vice is crushing my skull. Area around ears gets very sore, sometimes face hurts like it does when you have sinus pressure
Muscle pain: mainly my shoulders and in the upper back area. Ache and are very tender at times. On occasion it's like my muscles freeze and I can't shrug my shoulders at all due to the pain
Eye floaters
Fatigue
Painless muscle twitches in my legs
When many of these symptoms started back around 2013 my doctor did a TSH blood test (2.368) and a THYROID AUTOANTIBODIES test (Thyroglobulin Antibody: 20, Thyroid Peroxidase Ab: 63).
What do you guys think? Should I pursue further testing based on my symptoms, or should I assume this isn't a thyroid issue?
