Hi!
There are a few reasons to use grade B or C syrup instead of A:
- grades B and C are less processed than A, so the vitamins and minerals are still in the syrup whereas most of them are "refined" out in grade A
- the less the syrup is processed, the easier it is to be digested and it will not be as rapidly absorbed into the blood stream (ie slow burning carbs)
- anything less processed is better for your body!
Mind you, doing the cleanse with grade A is better than not doing it at all, but you can find grade B syrup now in any Whole Foods Market or health food store - it's worth it!
