I'm wondering about the
Science autophagy. Through research, I was attempting to determine when autophagy is most profound. Evidently "starvation-based" fasts (i.e. water fasting) is better than juice or mono fasting for inducing this state, but can fairly frequent intermittent fasting give you similar benefits to long-term water fasting?
When does autophagy peak? - I've seen people say anywhere from 16-24h to 2 days, but during
Water Fasting people say that they don't see any results until days 3 or 5. So what gives? Experiences anyone?
The reason I ask is because I attempted a long
Water Fast - got to a little over a week! It was alright (don't worry I safely got off meds first and am still of!), but I got very very weak. This is obviously normal, but I'm very small and light and I lost toooo much weight to be healthy. I anticipated some weight loss, but didn't give it much thought. I need the healing benefits!
So I was wondering if intermittent fasting could help me. Mostly I would like to eliminate eye floaters if possible.
