Sodium chlorite is NaClO2.
Trichloroisocyanuric acid is C3Cl3N3O3.
They are not the same.
In industry they have similar applications and target some of the same things, but they are not the same.

This is a reply to # 2,273,172It's deadly and corrosive. Look up a fact sheet on it. They use it on swimming pools with careful use, and has fillers often to make it more stablein use, and require not to mix brands. I would avoid, and look up which things are right and safe to use, because they might only be safe in correct form used under strict conditions and ways, which might be very hard to do safely.
