I have pyroluria & have had big improvements on the pyroluria protocol.
However I am getting more interested in the wider picture - e.g. to see if I am over-/under-methylated as well, & to see what other imbalances there might be.
Re biochemical imbalances, Dr William Walsh seems to cover the waterfront better than most. But the most up-to-date COMPREHENSIVE article of his that I can find is from round 2003:

I don't want to miss the research that's been done in the last decade or so. Does anyone know of a more recent rundown of the various biochemical imbalances (by Walsh or anyone else)?

This is a reply to # 2,269,912Dr. William Walsh published a book in 2012. The title is "Nutrient Power: Heal Your Biochemistry and Heal Your Brain". It seels on Amazon.
If you want to know more about Walsh's research go the website of the Walsh Research Institute. The site has articles that you can download.
Walsh protocol should be used by a doctor trained on it. To know if you have more than pyroluria you need to have specific blood exams. I believe that irine is the test for pyroluria.
On the Mensah Medical website you can also find some information about undermethylation and overmethylation. Drs. Mensah and Bowman worked with Dr. Walsh, and they follow this research protocol.
