That's what the vax salesmen say but how true is it? I assume there is a kernel of truth but there seems to be plenty of reason to think it is partially a sales job.
"yes but the unvaccinated rely on the kindness of others to keep up the "herd immunity""
Check out the Youtube videos by immunologist Tetyana Obukhanych PhD. This one on measles explains some weaknesses in the vax sales pitch.

Several points stood out in her presentation.
Natural immunity is far superior to immunity from measles vax. This is especially true for newborns who are being breastfed by a mother who has natural immunity.
In many or most outbreaks people who got sick had been vaccinated! She spends some time on the 2010 measles outbreak in Ontario Canada. The HS teacher who had been vaxed contracted it on a trip overseas. He only had symptoms of a mild cold. The school and general community had a 90+% vax rate yet the measles spread.
This suggests that immunity from vax is not as effective as the vax industry would like us to believe.
She spends some time on the issue of the relatively few number of years that immunity from vax is quite effective. The Vax industry solution is of course additional booster shots!
However she says the boosters don't have as big an effect on immunity as the first vax.
It left me with the impression that there has to be a better way to help people fight these illnesses. Of course you won't hear Big Pharma mention things that might actually make people healthier, such as keeping vitamin D at healthy levels, etc.
There is much more in the presentation.
"do you think Polio was a real disease? and where is it now?"
The rates of polio--and many other diseases-- decreased substantially or greatly BEFORE the vax became available. I'll provide a link later.
Polio vax is interesting because you have the oral vs injected versions. More on that later when I have my notes handy.
I'm not opposed to vaccines; I'm just skeptical that big corporations really care about people when they see an opportunity to make more $.
Since people who get side effects from the vax can't sue the vax manufacturer like they can with bad medications, why would the manufacturer care? What motivation do they have other than profit?
Vaccines like all other medical interventions cause some side effects. Mainstream for-profit medicine and Big Pharma make $ from the vax and then make more $ treating the side effect from the vax! I suspect they actually make more $ from treating the sfx!
This is the graph from my first post in this discussion.
