In my case it is:
Platform: PC with Windows 8.1
Browsers tested on Windows 8:
IE Version 11 works OK all window sizes
Chrome Version 42.0.2311.135 works OK all window sizes
Firefox Version 37.0.2 works OK all window sizes
Opera Version: 29.0.1795.47 works OK all window sizes
Safari Version: 5.1.7 Works OK all window sizes

I realize that nearly everyone on the planet has a smart-phone or iSomething, even in the most remote places. I do not have one of these devices and only use my PC or a hand-held gaming device if I'm elsewhere in a place where I can access WiFi.
A lot of sites (like FaceTube and FriendFace) have mobile options that users can choose using their mobiles.

thanks for all of your feedbacks.
For me is most important to know if you are able to use the new design.
If you are able to click on the links.
I never understood your first message.
Were you able to use the page, and were the colors your main concern, or was it impossible for you to click on the links at all?
I have now provided a link to the old design, for people who may have problems using the new design.
Also, colors have been changed, so please let me know if the current combination of colors (Grey/White/Silver) works better for you.
It is much closer to the old design, similar colors.
It is also suppose to be more easy on the eyes.

This is a reply to # 2,253,639I could only load a couple of the test pages.
As for the colors, I realize that you have other things to do - the whole appearance is so bright and unappealing that I personally race through the lists without really taking in what I'm looking at. There was a graphic artist that responded about possible imrovements to the color scheme - I would give strong consideration to those suggestions because there are "rules" when using colors for any and all purposes. Some combinations create certain human responses, and a stark white background with bars of YELLOW are upsetting to the brain, literally. Yellow is the color of danger or warning as interpreted by the human brain. Just saying. ;-)
The link to the old forum version requires me to login, again, and logout, and the main page that is the new format maintains that I am logged in, so I must pull up the new page, again, and logout of that, as well.
I don't know if any of this helps, at all, and I'm sorry that it's taken me this long to respond. Multiple personal issues have been at the forefront, lately.

This is a reply to # 2,253,276Use the screen-dimming buttons near the escape button. F1 on my MBP- takes the glare right down. Problem is the strength of the apple displays. ;-) Also, use F.lux (google it, free for both PC and Mac Os) which changes the color temperature of your screen to match white/blue light for daylight hours, and yellow/dim red for night hours, with sunset-inclusive!

To me it all looks good, but I feel that there are to many colors and yellow and reds look very harsh on the screen. I am a graphic designer so just wanted to add my two cents.
I used to see my user name at the top on the blue bar, but now I don't.
All the links worked well on all three computers and really quick too.
